Tumpak Sewu Day Trip from Malang or Surabaya
Tumpak Sewu is a long day, not a quick photo stop. We pick you up at 03:00 and drive about five hours to the waterfall area. By the time you reach the trail, the morning is yours.
The day in order
- 03:00 Pick-up from your hotel, airport, train station or bus terminal in Malang or Surabaya.
- On the way Short stops for the Semeru view and the Kapas Biru view.
- Morning With a local guide: the main viewpoint, the path down to the base of the falls, then Tebing Nirwana, Telaga Biru and Goa Tetes.
- Afternoon The drive back to your drop-off point.
How hard is it?
Moderate. The path down is steep and slippery in places. Wear closed shoes with good grip and bring a rain jacket. Gloves, a dust mask and a headlamp are on our packing list too.
What is included
Private vehicle with driver, fuel and parking, entrance tickets, a local guide, a video of your visit and drinking water. Lunch and dinner are not included.
The price starts from IDR 700,000 per person for the largest group. Smaller groups pay more per person; the table on the tour page shows every group size. You pay on arrival, with no deposit.
